Well another Camp DuBois event has passed. Like buffalochip said it was a small event this year ( I know the weather was so unpredictable) but a fun event. The battles both days were a blast. We all had a lot fun visiting with old friends and make new friends. The Mystic Buffalo Gang has all ready penciled in the event for next year. Hope to see more people from the Mystic Buffalo community there next year.
Just a quick thanks to everyone who works so hard to put on these events. I know it is a thankless job. Just wanted you to know we appreciate everything you do, keep up the good work.

Just wanted to say congratulation to the happy couple. Vic and Marty Layton Married this Saturday 21st, 2006 at the Sportmas Club Rendezvous. If you have time stop by and check out pictures of the wedding in the scrapbook.

We removed the ability to add comments to news articles and other content on the website due to comment spamming by registered users. These users register in order to do the spamming they are not legitimate re-enactors so I will delete any account that we notice doing this.
There were no legitimate use of the commenting system so I don't feel that it will effect the use of the website.
The Waterin Hole is always available to comments or remarks about any subject that is appropiate for this website.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to Private Message Matt or use the Contact Us link in the menu.

Hey Gang, for some reason tonight we decided to check to see when we first went on line with Mysticbuffalo.com. Well, to our surprize it was 3 years ago today. Mysticbuffalo.com was put on line May 1, 2003. It is thanks to you that we are three and going strong. currently we have 166 memebers, hundreds of events listed, dozens of interesting links, and so much more.
So Thanks again for being apart of Mysticbuffalo.com.
Hey, only 2 years till our 5th birthday. What about a Mysticbuffalo members camp??? Just an idea let us know what you think.

We have changed the permissions on the Tradin' Post. You not don't have to be a member of the website to view the items listed, but you will need to be a member to post an item in the Tradin' Post.
Becoming a member is free and all you need is a valid email address to join. Membership will allow you to post in sections of the Waterin' Hole. You are then eligible to recieve our newsletter from time to time and gain the ability to post photos in the Member's Section of the Scrapbook with membership.
There may be other advantages but they slip my mind after a long week.

I am very sorry for the website outage over the past week. I still have some work to do to upgrade to the lastest version of the website software.
So there will be a could of outages but I will try to make them short and during off hours.
