Ok every one. Lets have some fun and put on our thinking caps. What would America and the world be like if the French (not the English) won the French and indian war? What would be different or the same in todays culture and what language would we be speaking? Would part of the U.S. be part of Canada? Just something to think about. Lets have fun and be creative. Any guests that are wishing to add thier thoughts, you are more than welcome to do so.
My thanks John

We'd all be speaking German because there would have been no USA to to come in and bail out the French in either world war.

Question? Would there have been any world wars? Would the U.S. be split in two, French speaking north and English(or German) speaking south and east coast.

I'm no brainiac, but this is what I think would have happened. At least, right now. A day from now maybe I'll change my mind. Anyway, If France would have won, they would have chased the English out of all North America. Also, France would have taken all of India (as the British did). The French and Indian War (also known as the Seven Years War) was a world war that involved more countries than just France and England. I doubt very much if it would have been the last war between the two. Would the American colonials have rebelled against French rule? Would Napoleon have reached center stage in France? Kind of mind boggling if you really start to think about it. There were other powers, Prussia, Russia, Spain and Austria, just to name four, that would have had petty fights amoung themselves, as well as France and England. Definately, there would have been a change in the balence of power in Europe that would have affected North America, as well as the rest of the world. That's about as far as I can take it without totally blowing out my mind.
