Hello the camp,
I got a flyer in the mail yesterday about the Lukos Suntreko rendezvous at Roodhouse,IL. Says it's on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of Sept. They start their black powder shoot on the 8th and that's a Fri. Does anyone know if they let you set up on Friday while the shoot is going on or do you have to be set up by Fri morning? Also, if anyone has been to the previous vous there, how about a little info: is it a big vous? Is it a fun vous? Any info you could give would be appreciated because it is quite a drive for me to get up there on Fri just to be told that I was to late to set up. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with a friend that was there last year. He said that people were still setting up on Friday, they have school groups going through on Friday. He said it was small, last year was their second vous, but it seems to be growing. He said everybody was very friendly and helpful. He said he enjoyed it, but had to leave early, because of his bad back. I haven't been up there yet, hopefully this year!

Rainman,
I guess I won't need to call Dave (I assume that is who you are talking about since he has the worst back problem of anyone I know) will I since you have already talked to him. We might be able to attend this event also so maybe we will see you there.
Have we met? If so I am not putting the name with the face.

I will miss this one as I am going to St. Joe Rendezvous at St. Joe State Park in Missouri. (Near Farmington) They moved it from August when they have had it in the past. They moved it because there is not any Fort Hill any more.

Well, since I haven't gotten a definitive answer to my question and since I've been hearing all kinds of good things about the St Jo rendezvous, I think we may go there instead of Roodhouse. I've heard that the shoot at St Jo is a real good one.

Pocat, I just got a number yesterday for another guy involved in this event.
His name is Mike Gordley (217) 882-2170

I also updated the event information.
