| I`ve noticed that some men wear leggins over thier pants. Some made of leather, some made of wool and some made of canvas. I know what they were used for, but does it make and differance what they are made of? |

| i don't know about over pants. unless your talking about military leggins. usually you wear them instead of pants with a breach cloth. I've got both leather and canvas and have worn both. |

Allen, I portray a voyaguer and the way I understand, is that the voyaguers wore wool/canvas leggins while the natives ( and the voyaguers that stayed with the natives year round) wore leather leggins. Hope this helps.
