Post subject: Has anyone heard of Gatch Lake?

| My husbands family said they had heard there used to be a really good rendezvous at Gatch Lake southwest of Vandalia Illinois. They and we have have looked for information on this and the only thing I could find was from 2005. If anyone has any information on this that would be great. Also any information on any Rendezvous in the Central Illinois area would be Great. |

| Contact for Gatch Lake is Mike Boggs of Vandaila. Not sure if he has a listed phone. But he works for the nursing home in St Elmo, IL. If you call there, Tina is a longtime rondy goer. She can give you about as much infor as you want. I might see her this Sunday at PF fall camp. Mike might even be there. He does love to shoot. If you ever see a guy running around with a two liter of Dr Pepper, thats him! I have only been there once, but it was a nice turnout. I know its late, but there is always next year! |

| I would like to know more about Gatch lake too, I have heard about it and I an looking for information on rendezvous in east central illinois. |

| For central IL, Prairieland Frontiersman is about your best bet. The spring Rondy is the last full weekend of April. Very nice event! There are some Gatch attendees that attend. Its a great family event. I will be shooting my candy cannon. I have about 15 pounds of candy so far! I am ready to go! I was just out working on some stuff. |

| I haven't seen the listing on the gatherings page for the spring rendezvous in Sullivan and their website has not been updated for this year either. |
