A Member of the Rendezvous community has gone to that great spirit in the sky. Jeff Berg, son of Otto and Darlene Berg, passed away on Sunday, May 6th. Jeff drummed with the Great River Fife and Drum Corps for many years and loved to rendezvous. His family was always camped at Heritage Days and while drumming, he participated in various other rendezvous. The visitation is Wednesday, May 9th from 4 to 8 P.M. at Elias Smith Funeral Home in Godfrey, and the funeral is Thursday May 10th at 10 A.M. Jeff had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him. Thanks to the Hoffman's for making sure the community is kept informed. |
