Winter Rendezvous At Fort de Chartres
The 2003 Winter Rendezvous at Fort de Chartres Was a small, quiet event. My family and I went on Saturday and walked around for about 2 hours. It is not near the size of the spring rendezvous, but is a good event to walk around and shop. There were clothing venders, silversmiths, and just about anything needed to complete and outfit. We did not dress out, but you can if you feel inclined to get into the rendezvous spirit. While we were there it did not rain. What happened after we left is only known by the reenacters.
