Midwest Primitive Rendezvous

Jul 18 - Jul 25, 2009
The NRLHF cordially invites everyone to attend this event located on the historic hunting grounds of the Sac and Fox Indians. this site was referred to as the "Two Rivers" area (as noted in Allan Echert's book"Twilight Of Empire") and hosted such great chiefs as Keokuk and Blackhawk. Come and enjoy the rich history and tranquil enviroment as we camp on the very grounds the native indians did and also enjoy the history of the surrounding area. This site is located on the North River and there is an area for a voyageurs/longhunters camp. Palmyra offers many well documented and preserved historic sites and buildings. The site is located 12 miles north of Hannibal,Mo. the boyhood home of Mark Twain and hosts its own wealth of history as a central trading spot located on the "Grandmother Of All Rivers" the mississippi. There are a number of seminars and craft sessions planned and many shooting events as well as other competitions.
