Walk in the footsteps of the Spanish Fort
“Fort Don Carlos” (1767-1780) located on
the south-side of the mouth of the
Missouri River. It was officially known
as Fort Don Carlos el Senor Principe de
Asturias, and it was an 80-foot square
palisade with four bastions.

To reach the area, go north approximately 3 miles from the I-270/ Riverview Drive exit.
Riverview Drive becomes Columbia Bottom Road at its intersection with Larimore Road.
